Welcome to SOBANI — a passion project born from creativity, family, and a love for old-school tattoo artistry.

What began as a small side hustle between two partners with a shared creative spirit has grown into a brand that celebrates individuality, craftsmanship, and meaningful design.

At SOBANI, we create our own clothing designs inspired by classic old-school tattoo sketch aesthetics — bold, timeless, and full of character. Every piece is finished with our signature embroidered logo, making each item unique in its own subtle way.

Our name, SOBANI, is a blend of our family’s names, but it also carries a beautiful meaning in Japanese: “そばに (sobani)” — to be close, to stay near.

This perfectly reflects our vision: clothing that feels personal, expressive, and close to the people who wear it.

Although SOBANI is currently our side venture, we are growing steadily. You can shop our collection 24/7 on our webshop, and we regularly appear at pop-ups, fairs, and local markets. With time, we hope to bring SOBANI even closer to you by partnering with selected stores.
